"I hadn’t really considered seeing a personal trainer before I talked to Nikki. The cost was a major barrier—I just didn’t see how it could possibly be worth it. That said, I also knew that I really needed a jump start to get my rear in gear. Nikki made the first steps seem completely accessible. She was warm and friendly, and understood that what I needed at that moment was a gentle nudge, a set of goals, and a few words of encouragement. There was no sense of pressure, which allowed me to feel comfortable in my decision to commit to a short term plan.

"We've had Nikki as our corporate trainer for a few months. She leads both our morning "workout of the day"-type sessions as well as yoga sessions once a week.
I am not a morning person, but the thought of starting the day with a workout with Nikki gets me out of bed. As I'm working on improving strength and conditioning, I worry about workouts which are too taxing for me. The routines she designs for us are perfect for me in my, erm, middle-age, with variations for different levels. She motivates us with just enough cheer-leading without the feeling of a drill-sergeant in our face. :)
When I found out she is also a SUP Yoga (!!) Instructor, I was a bit nervous about whether or not the yoga would be too difficult for me, (I'm still new to practicing). My concerns were alleviated quickly. Nikki leads by example, tailors the session to suit us, and corrects my poses in a very encouraging and supportive manner without any judgement. She adds a light spiritual element to the practice which I really appreciate.
Finally, as I'm the type of person who wants to do things the "right" way, am inquisitive in general, and still learning on both the workout and yoga fronts, Nikki encourages questions and happily obliges me.
